Gram-negative opportunistic pathogens

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is amongst a number of Gram-negative opportunistic pathogens that cause significant Nosocomial infections across the Globe and are perhaps one of the most concerning challenges facing Infection Control in the coming years. Antibiotic resistance within this group of organisms is increasing exponentially and control of these organisms within hospital environments is an increasing problem.

The HTM0401 specifically requires the testing of outlets in augmented care for Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Isopharm can provide analysis to meet these requirements, using Application based technology to provide a smooth transition of samples through the laboratory.

Rapid Test Methods

Isopharm also has the provision to undertake the IDEXX rapid Pseudomonas aeruginosa test with a 24hour results without the requirement for concentration steps.
